About Camp Legacy
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are Ira and Angela Walton, laborers and servants in Crenshaw County, Alabama, where I currently shepherd Crenshaw Community Baptist Church.
After retiring from the Marines, we relocated to Alabama. In 1999, we purchased 29 acres and dedicated its use for the glory of the Lord as a Christian youth camp and place of refuge.
For over twenty years we have labored toward this vision by God's grace. With the help of churches and friends, offices, recreation facilities, and dining space have been built to serve this ministry.
Impact Vision
Camp Legacy is designed as an IMPACT CAMP, helping redirect children toward biblical truth and purposeful living.
Core Values
Character, integrity, honesty, and compassion are central to preparing youth for healthy choices and productive adulthood.
